He hand-carves the delightful duck from albesia wood, which he then paints by hand in amazing detail.

"Great depiction of a mallard hen"
Its not easy to find a good quality depiction of a mallard hen -- most statuettes are of the drake -- perhaps because the markings on the hen are delicate and subtle. The artist has done a wonderful job here, and Im very happy with it. It occupies an honored place in our home.

"Intricate paint detail"
I was very pleased to receive this mallard statuette. I have seen many an iteration at crafting a likeness of this animal, but none better. There was one small scratch despite the great me that that were taken in packaging. I remedied this problem with the help of friend with artist knowledge and voila.It is now proudly displayed in my secretary desk cabinet so I can see it every day.

"Adorable Cat Sculpture"
I adore this little sculpture! Although I have never owned a Siamese cat (I own a dark gray tabby), I love how this sculpture is so beautifully crafted.

"It reminds me of a cat I had."
It is perfect in every way. Just like this cat I had. I loved that cat. Her name was Mrs. Baby. This statue is now the centerpiece to a shrine I have built for her, since her disappearance.
